Citizenship by investment in Vanuatu is available to applicants who invest from $130,000 into a local development fund. Vanuatu, a chain of 80 islands in the south Pacific to the east of Australia is part of the Commonwealth. The official languages are English and French.
Vanuatu has the only Citizenship by investment program in the Asia-Pacific Hemisphere. The programme offers one of the fastest citizenship and second passport programmes available for investors. The investment requirement is $130,000 for a single applicant and $180,000 for a family of four plus fees.
About the program
The Vanuatu Citizenship by Investment program began accepting applicants in 2017 and is the only program of its kind in the South Pacific. Known as the Vanuatu Citizenship Development Support Program, it is one of the quickest paths to second citizenship through investment.
To be able to apply for this program, you should be at least 18 years of age, in good health, and without a criminal record.
In addition, you are required to make a non-refundable contribution to the government.
